Garden Streets started in 2018 with a mission of helping people live and work more effortlessly and joyfully. The first service they launched was plant design and maintenance that incorporated live greenery to blank offices and buildings. Using the principles of biophilic design, they brought nature indoors to help visitors, employees and patients alike feel welcomed and rejuvenated.
Today, Garden Streets offers hands-on experiences in plants & nature, food & bev, wellness, Diversity Equity and Inclusion and interactive games. Through hundreds of events and thousands of attendees from corporate clients, they heard loud and clear that people wanted to share our experiences with their friends and family.
When the pandemic hit in 2019, so many offices closed and the world moved to remote work. The need for everyone to stay connected while staying apart inspired them to create their very first virtual event, Succulent Terrarium Building, complete with a curated kit shipped to attendees’ home addresses. This event went so well that they just had to keep going.
This Holiday Season, they launched Studio by Garden Streets in Chicago’s New City neighborhood. In celebration of the upcoming holiday season, founder/owner Jen Gouldstone invited Chicago media and influencers to a private, complimentary DIY class to create a beautiful evergreen, birch box centerpiece!
Upon arrival, the smell of fresh evergreens instantly puts you in the holiday spirit. It was really nice to have the chance to connect with other local influencers and media personalities. This holiday season, I highly suggest trying Studio by Garden Streets and discover a new hobby, unleash your creativity or just simply have a wonderful time with your favorite people while making something you are proud of.
