Today I took #WCW to another level! Typically I see a lot of pictures of women half naked circulating the internet with the hashtag #WCW. I decided to put a spin on that hashtag and highlight women “crushing it” in their field. So, I kicked the series off with NK Gutiérrez!
NK Gutiérrez is a filmmaker, producer and rising thespian. She played in the musical RENT, as well as, graced the pages of Kohl’s. Her hard work lead her the opportunity to be featured on HBO Latino and The Oprah Winfrey Show. She also just directed her first short film “The Last New Year” , which just premiered at the Gene Siskel Film Center’s 22nd Annual Black Harvest Film Festival .

I really loved chatting with NK today! Not only is NK funny but she’s such a sweetheart and very intelligent. It was a total pleasure having her as my #WCW (Woman “Crushing It” Wednesday).
