It’s not too often that people successfully make it in or out of Chicago. So, when I heard about tattoo artist, Ryan Henry, making a mark in the city through his black ink…I was intrigued. Ryan’s tragic past has been tattooed into his present and serves as the catalyst for his tattoo shop, 9Mag. I decided to interview VH1’s Black Ink Crew Chicago, Ryan Henry & Charmaine Johnise.
The VH1 reality show, Black Ink Crew Chicago, follows the life of young business owners as they figure out life, love and business. Last week Season 2 launched showcasing a whole new world of problems with some of the cast mates.
During our interview, we talked about what viewers can expect on Season 2, owing a business and less fights.
Black Ink Crew Chicago airs Mondays 9/8 CT on VH1
