OWN’s highly popular soap drama created by Tyler Perry The Haves and the Have Nots seems to keep social media buzzing about all the antics on the show. If you’re not familiar with the show, like me, the series follows three families and their lifestyles as they coexist in Savannah, Georgia: the rich, powerful, and locally very public Cryer and Harrington families (dubbed “The Haves”) and the poor and destitute Young family (dubbed “The Have Nots”).
Angela Robinson plays the ruthless attorney Veronica Harrington. When I posted about my upcoming interview with her, I kept hearing
“she really plays the mess out of her character”
or “her character is a mess”. Since I’m not too familiar with the show, I was really excited to get to know Angela Robinson… the woman behind the character. After a damn near hour interview, I felt like she was the sweetest, funniest, and most radiant actress out there.
I learned about how she is holding up during quarantine, remains a success in life and in her marriage, and the kind of changes she hopes for with her character. Getting to know Angela was an amazing experience for me, I’m hoping the same for you once you press play on the video.
