Once the whole world shut down at the beginning of 2020, so did the opportunity for me to go on-set and do any lifestyle segments. I was a little worried how that would affect my livelihood. Thankfully, the world adjusted and I was ahead of the game digitally. I had all the equipment to handle setting up what I needed at home but I’m not going to lie I did miss going into the studio.
Last month WGN TV launched a new lifestyle show called Daytime Chicago. If you know me, then you know I had to figure out how I can make an appearance on there. Luckily, I was able to work it out and got booked! However, Daytime Chicago has their guests come in studio. I was super excited to come in because I miss that rush of being in-studio and around the production team. I get such a high when I’m in that environment. I was literally beaming the whole morning despite how tired I was.
