The day before leaving out of town for LA, I had the chance to do some turnin’ up with Lil Jon.
Lil Jon, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, DJ and actor from Atlanta, Georgia. He was the frontman of the group Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, which he formed in 1997. They released several albums until 2004. After going solo, he released a new album in 2010 titled Crunk Rock. He was featured on Celebrity Apprentice during its 11th and 13th seasons. –Wikipedia
Bud Light Party Convention put together a unique tour which united the people of Chicago at Joe’s Live in Rosemont. Many event-goers enjoyed the refreshing taste of Bud Light, the sounds of country singer Justin Moore and Lil’ Jon. The packed venue had many people anxious to get crunk with Lil Jon & Justin. Due to time constraints, I almost missed my chance to sit down with “The King Of Crunk”. Thankfully things worked out as planned and I got to interview Lil Jon before his performance.
I met Lil’ Jon back stage. We did not have time for a long introduction because he was had to perform soon. Once we began the interview, he was very personable. You can tell from the video we had lots of laughs and could have kept the interview going all night. Lil Jon has a passion and knowledge for music that was very intriguing. Hopefully in the future our paths will cross again and I can find more about the “Turn Up King”. For now, check out Lil Jon’s latest single titled “Take It Off” featuring Yandel & Becky G.
