Spring is my favorite time of the year. It brings me so much joy to see the flowers blooming, the sun shining, and just knowing that summer is not too far away brings a level of excitement that indescribable. Spring is also the time that you can enjoy all the things that you had to out away during the summer. Grills, shorts, light jackets are now all things that you can embrace again.
Last year, I was on a mission to create an outdoor space that gave a beach-y zen vibe. I was determined to create a safe peaceful space that I could retreat to when the “work from home” walls were caving in. During the process, I was on the hunt for a Boxwood Tree, Lollipop Tree or Topiary Lollipop. They’re basically the same tree but are referenced a slew of different ways. I love the sleek look of the trees! They remind me of a zen garden and were the perfect addition to my balcony. The crazy thing is they’re super expensive! Luckily, I found a way to make a Boxwood Tree myself and I wanted to share this with you!
I searched high and low on YouTube and wasn’t able to find one where I liked the technique. So my boyfriend and I put our heads together and created a faux that looks so real. When friends and family come over they can not even tell that it’s fake. I put together a video on this method but I will list all the things that you need and a link to the items to make it happen.
