A Wrinkle In Time made its theatre release last weekend but the movie is still buzzing. Since we’re still on the heels of Black Panther‘s box office success, the accomplishments of the two black directors behind each film is making history.
Rising starlet of AWIT, Storm Reid, had a chance to work alongside some of Hollywood’s heavy hitters.
Storm began acting when she was three years old. After earning small parts, Storm landed a role in the Academy Award winning film 12 Years a Slave as Emily. Following her performance, she landed her next major film in Sleight playing Tina, the younger sister of the film’s protagonist Bo played by Jacob Latimore. She made numerous appearances on television; most notably The Thundermans, Adam DeVine’s House Party, NCIS: Los Angeles and Chicago P.D.
While attending the red carpet premier of A Wrinkle In Time, Storm shared a few lessons that she learned while working closely with Oprah & Ava.
