Last week two women came forward with shocking sexual assault allegations against actor Chris Noth. As the internet was processing about his characters recent death on ‘And Just Like That‘, the buzz about the allegations quickly followed.
Many were wondering how this would affect his career moving forward and we’ve quickly come to find out that it has. Following the allegations his agent discontinued their relationship with him. Along with that, the commercial with Peloton has been pulled, and now he’s been removed from the The Equalizer. It was announced on Monday, after a third woman has come forward, that he will no longer be apart of the cast.
“Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of ‘The Equalizer,’ effective immediately,” Universal Television and CBS said in a short joint statement to The Los Angeles Times. There was no further comment.
The show, which stars Queen Latifah and is currently on hiatus, has aired seven episodes so far in its second season. A new episode is due Jan. 2. The 67-year-old actor had apparently already filmed one additional episode.
Although Noth has denied the allegations, his career is currently taking a major hit.
