Many of you may not know this but I have struggled with weight for quite some time. At the age of 8 I remember the beginning of my battle. I’ve tried everything to fight the battle of the bulge. In my later years I figured out the one thing that helped me lose weight and that was a spin class. My first spin class was several years ago at LA Fitness, subsequently I became a fan. After falling off the saddle, I’m on a mission to lose 20 pounds before the holidays roll around. To get back on track, I reached out to fitness expert Barbara Fellars to help me achieve a fit bod.
For two weeks straight I went to Barbara’s spin class she teaches at Equinox. Getting back on the saddle was quite challenging but after several classes I was keeping up the pace. Barb was really good at making sure the bike was positioned correctly for my height, assisting with any questions or concerns and ensuring my form was on point.
Barbs “Fit Bod” Eating Tips: Eat Clean! Eat protein with every meal. Also, limit non processed consumption of refined sugars.
Barbara and I still have a lot of work to do. She plans on doing a session with me using kettlebells, core training and more. I admit this journey is rough but I’m working towards achieving my best. I will keep you guys updated on some unique fitness/health trends, tips & tricks that I learn along the way and my progress. In the meantime, if you want to check out Barbara’s spin class see her schedule below.
