I swear! I must have been a chef in my former life because I just whipped up this Healthy Spicy Shrimp Salad in 5 min. Since it’s extremely hot in Chicago, I opted to create something quick and delicious. Thankfully, I had all the ingredients on-hand.
After eating this salad it reminded me of Burger King’s shrimp salad they had on their menu years ago. However, this salad is much better. If you’re having a lazy day in the kitchen, make sure you add this recipe to your favorites.
5 Min Healthy Spicy Shrimp Salad
The great thing about this recipe is that it can be altered. Instead of using shrimp, try salmon or chicken. Also, top it with croutons, bacon bits or sunflower seeds to jazz it up. The options are endless!
Ingredients
- 7 Shrimp Medium, Devein, Tail-Off, No Shell
- 1 tsp Olive Oil extra Virgin
- Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning
- Old Bay Seasoning
- Romaine Lettuce Salad Mix
- Spinach
- Carrots
- Goat Cheese
- Grape Tomatoes
- Green Onions
- Salad Girl Chile Limon Vinaigrette
Instructions

Place in a small sauce pan 1 tsp of Olive Oil. Turn heat to medium high.

Once pan is slightly hot, add shrimp to pan.

Sprinkle desired amount of Old Bay & Mrs. Dash. The more seasoning the spicer it will be. Season to your desired taste.

Cook shrimp on each side for about 2 mins/ side. When the shrimp turn pink that's when you know it's cooked. Shrimp cook fast so be sure you don't overcook them.

While the shrimp are cooking, plate lettuce, carrots and grape tomatoes.

Once the shrimp are done, place them on top of the lettuce, carrots and grape tomatoes. Add goat cheese and chopped green onions.

Top with Vinaigrette
