Behind-The-Scenes Of NekiaNichelle.com

Every six months I feel the need to refresh my digital footprint. In my field, it’s important that you have fresh headshots every three months. Lately, I have been slacking in that area so I decided my first step should be updating my photos. I wanted to share this experience with you that is why I opted to have someone capture some behind-the-scenes footage.

I called my favorite photographer, Melissa Morley, to make my vision come alive. You all might remember Melissa’s work when I shot with her during the relaunch of my website. Although I worked with a different make-up artist and stylist, I knew this time around I would still get amazing results because Melissa was on my side.

I’ve built a strong relationship with Melissa, we’ve know each other for 10 years now. Since that time, we’ve both grown tremendously professionally and artistically. Despite that growth, we share the same visions and aspirations. That’s why when she recommended Sym Abrol to be my make-up artist, I knew that I was in good hands.

Seeing alluring makeup has always been a thrilling feeling for Sym. It inspires her to push her creative limits, and to produce artistic visions of her own. She started her journey in make-up 10 years ago studying under Vidya Tikari and Amanda Shackleton.

It was my first time working with Sym and I’m glad I chose her to be apart of this project. She really has a knack with ethic skin. She had my skin glowing and looking flawless. Another newbie to the team was Crystal Gonzalez. Crystal shot all the behind the scenes for me. She came highly recommended from a fellow colleague in the industry. This time around, I decided to style myself because I was really specific on what I wanted to convey in this shoot. I did have the chance to work with a shoe brand, Mari A.  Their stylish shoes completed most of my looks.

Once I built a solid team, we were able to make some magic happen.

After the shoot was complete, Melissa and I agreed that we need to come together more frequently. Not only to keep our creative juices flowing but to find new ways to connect with you guys through my content. At times I feel like I overthink things but I want to ensure you all have the best experience on my site and my digital platforms.

Since I have a newfound commitment to being more creative, it will allow me to generate more content for my growing fan base on nekianichelle.com. When I started this website, I wanted to share all of my experiences, passions, and growth. I know I’ve been a bit behind but I’m thankful to all the readers who’ve stuck with me and continue to support me. I’m still building but I’m excited to take you along on this journey with me. Thank you to all of my subscribers and newcomers, you all are why I do this.

I can’t wait to share even more exciting website developments with you in the new year as my team and I continue to create new content for you! If there is anything you want to see more of on nekianichelle.com, please comment and let me know!
