During the summer –when the weather is nice, you have a chance to explore food, fashion and everything in between. Every year, I tend to obsess over a few finds along the way. Although summer has not come to an official end, I had to share a few of my must-haves this year. From eye wear to kitchen supplies, I’m running the gamut.
My Summer Must Haves
T-Fal Opti Indoor Grill: Grilling is a summer staple! You can not at least go to one BBQ during the warm summer months. It also might be too hot to fire up that grill outdoors. That’s why I love the T-Fal Indoor Grill. You have the option to get the same benefits with less work. I have made some juicy chicken breasts, delicious wraps, panini’s and I still continue to explore more options. I use this thing at least one or twice a week. The creations are endless. Smoothies: Just call me Smoothie Queen! I love sipping on this cool drink in the summer. Add in a scoop of protein, fresh veggies and you have a cool meal on the run. Smoothies are my summer must always-have.
Fashionable Eye wear: I do not know about you, but I’m prone to headaches or exhaustion when the sun is beaming in my eyes. This can have the same effect on gloomy days, but sunny days are the worst. I’m all about expressing myself through trendy eye wear but they tend to not provide to proper UV protection.
Lately I have been sporting the high-end brand Under Armour and I’ve seriously noticed a difference. I’m not squinting as much as I use to with cheaper brands and my headaches have been nonexistent.
Nars Cosmetics Foundation: I was a loyal MAC Cosmetics customer but things have changed just a little. I still like a lot of their items but I have to give hats off the Nars’ line of foundations. I have to thank my favorite MUA, Stephanie Espinoza, for hipping me their products. They’re lightweight, true to color and give a flawless finish. I have been using their foundation like crazy when I need to hit the red carpet or attend an upscale event.
