Anyone that knows me personally, knows about my love for smoothies. In the summer I drink smoothies in place of meals. However, a smoothie high in sugar can alter your waist line. Below are a few recipes that I found to be delicious and healthy. Enjoy!

Strawberry Avocado Smoothie

Prep Time 15 minutes
Servings 1

Ingredients

  • cup Bolthouse Farms® Original Plant Protein Milk
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 Frozen banana
  • ¼ tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Frozen strawberries
  • 1 tsp Honey

Instructions

  1. Blend together avocado, ½ frozen banana, 1/3 cup Plant Protein Milk, 1 teaspoon of honey and ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract in blender

  2. Pour mixture into glass

  3. Clean out blender

  4. Blend together 1 cup frozen strawberries, ½ frozen banana, and ½ cup Plant Protein Milk

  5. Pour strawberry layer on top the avocado layer

  6. Enjoy!

 

 

 

Four Ingredient Vegan Smoothie Bowl

A simple Four Ingredient Smoothie Bowl recipe that’s vegan thanks to our rich and creamy Plant Protein Milk by The Toasted Pine Nut

Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1 cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 cup Frozen Blackberries
  • ¾ cup Bolthouse Farms® Vanilla Plant Protein Milk until smooth

Instructions

  1. Blend 1 frozen banana, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup frozen blackberries, and ¾ cup Bolthouse Farms® Vanilla Plant Protein Milk until smooth.

  2. Pour into a bowl or cup and top with frozen berries and chia seeds (optional). Enjoy!!

 

 

 

Strawberry Beet Smoothie Bowl

The perfect better-for-you sweet treat ready in under 20 minutes! By The Foodie Physician

Prep Time 20 minutes
Servings 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Strawberries
  • ½ cup Cooked Beets
  • 1 Frozen Bananas
  • ½ cup Bolthouse Farms® Vanilla Plant Protein Milk until smooth

Instructions

  1. Blend strawberries, cooked beets, frozen banana, and Bolthouse Farms Vanilla Plant Protein Milk until smooth.

  2. Pour into a bowl and garnish with desired toppings like strawberries, dragon fruit, coconut, and chia seeds.

  • Optional: strawberries, dragon fruit, coconut, and chia seeds
